The Sala Luisa Alberca Lorente, located within the Casa de Cultura in Alcázar de San Juan, is currently hosting the exhibition 'La Huella del Espacio', a significant display of contemporary art featuring six artists who delve into the interplay between printmaking and installation as complementary languages. The inauguration took place on 16 October, attended by local councillors Cristina Perea and Pedro Noblejas, who congratulated the participants involved in this initiative promoted by the City Council through the Municipal Cultural Board.

This exhibition, which will be open for public viewing until 21 November, draws inspiration from the imprint, matrix, and gestures inherent in printmaking, transcending the paper medium to actively occupy the space, transforming it into a meeting point for matter, memory, and experience.

Curated by Ral Ramírez, a professor of painting and printmaking at the University Popular, the exhibition features works by Ramírez alongside those of his students, resulting from a rigorous collective effort developed throughout the academic year. During the presentation, curator and professor Ral Ramírez expressed his pride in the outcome achieved in the classroom: 'We began the semester with an exhibition of which I am very happy and proud. It originates in the printmaking classroom, but we are artists who have become a family, and I believe that is reflected in the exhibition. We invite everyone to come and see it.'

Councillor Cristina Perea highlighted the qualitative leap of the proposal, emphasising that it is not a conventional exhibition of paintings hung on walls, but rather a project of installations conceived with a high level of conceptual and aesthetic value: 'The installations require not only the work you create but also choosing where and how to place it. We have only words of congratulations for Raúl and the entire team, as they have done an excellent job. Such exhibitions are usually seen in large contemporary art museums, and today we are fortunate to have an immersive display in our Sala Luisa Alberca.'
