Bargas experienced a special afternoon on 18 October with the celebration of the Flamenco Festival in Honour of pepe 'El Grillo', a heartfelt gathering dedicated to remembering and paying tribute to this beloved local resident. The event, held at the Pista Cubierta de Bargas, was organised by Raúl Valero, a close friend of pepe, alongside the family of the honouree, who initiated this tribute through flamenco music, uniting many artists, friends, and community members.
