The municipal tourism delegation, headed by Councillor Mercedes Atanet, will take part in the sectoral meetings organised by the Provincial Tourism Board from 27 to 29 October at the former Tabacalera warehouses in Cádiz. These professional sessions aim to foster dialogue with the business sector to share ideas and define strategies that will enhance tourism in the province of Cádiz until 2027.
The primary goal is to address the challenges facing the tourism sector, identify new opportunities, and continue progressing towards a more competitive, sustainable destination that meets emerging market trends and needs.
The event will commence on Tuesday, 27 October, with the presentation of the professional agenda and the Tourism Intelligence Platform (PIT). Subsequent discussions will delve into various aspects of the sector, including cultural, enological, gastronomic, flamenco, linguistic, and cruise tourism.
On Wednesday, 28 October, the focus will shift to MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) and premium tourism, which encompasses luxury offerings, slow travel, and experiential and emotional tourism. The final day, Thursday, 29 October, will concentrate on sports tourism, nature tourism, rural tourism, equestrian tourism, and motorhome tourism, concluding the sessions.
This event presents a valuable opportunity for exchanging perspectives, sharing experiences, generating synergies, and, most importantly, collaboratively working on the strategies and priorities that will shape the future of tourism in the province.
