The Piélagos Town Council has announced the postponement of the horror show 'Carrimont, the route that does not exist' to Sunday, 1 November. The event was originally set for Halloween night but has been rescheduled due to three days of official mourning following a train accident in Urda, Toledo.
Gloria Bárcena, the councillor for festivities, confirmed that the show will retain its original hours, running from 19:00 to 23:00. The event will feature six themed areas: 'The bridge of the disappeared', 'The trail of those who still walk', 'The laundry of those who did not return', 'The man who has already left', 'The gallows of the most', and 'The route of those who never leave'.
Additionally, the award ceremony for the Halloween decoration competition 2026, which saw participation from local businesses, hospitality venues, senior centres, and schools, will now occur on Wednesday, 4 November, at 14:00 in the Town Hall's Plenary Hall. This competition also included a pumpkin decoration category exclusively for schoolchildren.
However, the performances by three local dance schools—AnyOneElse Dance Studio led by Beatriz Abascal, Bailando con Gema Villanueva, and the Piélagos Municipal Dance School directed by Alberto Pineda—have been cancelled entirely.
