Nearly 200 young people participate in dipuJoven event in La Roda

Nearly 200 young people participated on Saturday in La Roda in a new edition of the dipuJoven programme, organised by the Diputación de Albacete. The event brought together participants around a range of cultural, sports, recreational, and community activities.

The day commenced at 10:30 AM with the reception of the participating groups, leading to a morning dedicated to exploring the municipality and its notable features. Among the activities were a special event linked to La Roda, a visit to the Miguelitos Ruiz factory, and a cultural gymkhana, which allowed the young attendees to engage with various aspects of the town through shared experiences.

The programme also featured musical performances from the groups Everlast and Membrillos before a break for lunch. The afternoon activities resumed at 4:00 PM, offering a diverse range of participatory events, many themed around Halloween, encouraging attendees to dress up and enjoy related activities.

These included dynamics such as ‘The condemned challenge’, ‘The last dance’, ‘Flavours of fear’, ‘The cursed box’, ‘Zombie sport beat’, ‘Eco Halloween’, ‘Scar laboratory’, and ‘Sustainable summit’. This mix of activities incorporated games, sports, creativity, and sustainability content, all designed to promote participation and community among young people.

The event concluded with the presentation of awards and farewells to the participating groups, with a bus return scheduled for 7:00 PM. With this latest gathering in La Roda, dipuJoven continues to offer activities aimed at the youth of the province, using leisure, culture, and participation as central elements of its programming.
