The second vice president and minister of Memory and Coexistence, Foreign Action and Basque Language, Ana Ollo, welcomed a delegation from the Federation of Regional Houses of Navarra at the Palacio de Navarra to celebrate the 37th Cultural Week.
The delegation was led by Jorge Herrera González, head of the Service of Castilian and Leonese Citizenship Abroad, and Jaime Valdeolmillos, president of the Federation of Regional Houses in the Foral Community, who also heads the Regional House of Castilla y León.
The event, held in the Throne Room, saw participation from representatives of the Houses of Aragón, Cantabria, Lar Gallego, Hogar Extremeño, the Valencian Community, and Castilla y León, which has been designated as the host regional house this year.
In her address, Ollo welcomed the attendees and highlighted the “colour, rhythm, and joy” that fill the streets and squares of Navarra's capital each October during this Cultural Week. She also acknowledged the social and cultural contributions made by members of these associations to Navarrese society.
Ollo congratulated the organisers of this cultural gathering, now in its 37th edition, for their year-long efforts culminating in this week of celebration.
Following the reception, attendees enjoyed a display of traditional dances on Avenida de Carlos III.
