Palencia is preparing for a spine-tingling Halloween with a haunted hospital event at the Eras de Santa Marina Sports Complex, scheduled for 31 October. The venue will be open from 17:00 to 00:00, transforming into an eerie setting for visitors.
This event, organised for the third consecutive year by the City Council of Palencia through the Municipal Sports Board, in collaboration with the Saborea Cuatro Cantones Athletics Club, promises a unique experience featuring professionals in costumes and makeup.
The day will be divided into two time slots: from 17:00 to 19:30 for younger children (up to 9 years old) and from 20:00 to 00:00 for those aged 10 and above. During the event, there will be tents with Halloween-themed fairground attractions and a costume contest.
More than 45 performers will frighten attendees along a 600-metre route, where they will encounter sinister nurses and doctors, operating rooms, radioactive spills, and other chilling challenges. Additionally, a Plaza del Terror will feature entertainment and music from local DJs.
