Martina Aneiros, the delegate of the Xunta in Ferrol, met this morning with Rosa María Echevarría, president and founder of the I'TICS association, based in Pontedeume. This non-profit organisation promotes tourism, cultural, and social initiatives designed with inclusion and accessibility in mind, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
During the meeting, Aneiros was informed about several projects the association is currently undertaking, including the accessible and inclusive music festival along the Camino de Santiago, named Inclusón. This initiative aims to ensure equal participation as a means to "generate culture, coexistence, equal opportunities, and a sense of belonging to the territory," as stated by Echevarría.
The meeting is part of a series of regular contacts that the Xunta delegate maintains with representatives from the social, cultural, and economic sectors in the region. The aim is to gain firsthand insight into the needs and main demands of the area and to strengthen collaboration.
