The Local Government Board of València has awarded a contract for the management and execution of cultural visits for the city’s senior citizens, part of the sociocultural animation programme at the Municipal Activity Centres for Seniors (CMAPM). The contract has been granted to Viajes Transvia Tours SL for a total of €730,400, including VAT, and will last for four years as stipulated in the tender specifications.
The approved cultural visit calendar outlines a total of 80 annual visits, divided into four itineraries of 20 outings each. Each visit will include, at a minimum, transportation by bus, a professional guide, meals, and entrance fees to museums or places of interest, all included in the contract price.
The contract requires the awarded company to provide an organisational structure that includes administrative infrastructure, coordination staff, qualified guides, civil liability insurance, prior communication with participants, payment of entrance fees, and an evaluation report with a satisfaction survey. The company will also be responsible for managing reservation vouchers, handling waiting lists, and maintaining communication with the Senior Services.
The planned visit schedule will run from October to May, with departures from the Municipal Activity Centres for Seniors to explore cultural sites across towns and cities in the Valencia Community.
