Sanxenxo strengthens its competitiveness as a tourist destination at London event

Sanxenxo has kicked off its participation in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, solidifying its status as a prominent international tourist destination. During the first day of the event, the Galicia Tourism stand, part of the Turespaña space, experienced high levels of activity, becoming a dynamic meeting point for professionals from around the globe.

The Sanxenxo delegation, which includes notable representatives from both the public sector and private business community, is actively promoting the area. Through informative brochures, QR codes, and cutting-edge multimedia materials, the municipality is showcasing its diverse tourism offerings, natural resources, and hospitality excellence to international tour operators and visitors.

On an institutional level, the morning was marked by key meetings that could shape the future of tourism in the municipality. Sanxenxo's Tourism Councillor, Juan Deza, held a working meeting with Carmen Pita, the Director of Promotion for Galicia Tourism, to coordinate strategies aimed at enhancing the region's brand abroad. Additionally, Deza had the opportunity to greet and exchange views with Rosario Sánchez Grau, the Secretary of State for Tourism, during her official tour of the Galician space.

This first day in the British capital reinforces the local government's strategy to improve seasonality, attract new profiles of foreign visitors, and strengthen Sanxenxo's competitiveness in the European market.
