The Complutense University of Madrid is set to host concerts for the International Contemporary Music Festival of Madrid (COMA) on 12 and 14 November. Organised by the Association of Contemporary Music Composers (AMCC) since 1999, the festival aims to promote the works of contemporary composers from Madrid.
On 12 November at 19:00, the Fernández-Apellániz Trio will perform in the Paraninfo of the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy. The following concert on 14 November at 12:00 will feature the Complutense University Symphony Orchestra at the National Auditorium of Music, in the Chamber Hall.
Since 2024, the Vice-Rectorate for Culture, Sports and University Extension has collaborated with the festival, which seeks to integrate music with other artistic disciplines such as poetry, theatre, and dance.
