The Ayuntamiento de Tarragona has announced the opening of registrations for the 2027 carnival, inviting both performance groups and organisations to participate. Groups can join the parade, while organisations can propose activities.
It is important to note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee acceptance; all activities must meet technical and programming criteria as outlined in the document titled "Actions for the improvement of coexistence in public spaces during festive activities."
Registrations for activities to be included in the carnival programme can be submitted from Wednesday, 21 October, until midnight on 29 November. Meanwhile, all performance groups interested in participating in the 2027 carnival have until midnight on 8 January to register.
The Tarragona carnival is scheduled to take place from 29 January to 9 February 2027.
