Alicante Fashion Week is set to showcase a diverse range of talent in the province's capital this October and November. The event will feature over thirty renowned designers and emerging creators, with activities scheduled for 23 and 24 October and 5 and 13 November.
The Diputación de Alicante has once again committed to supporting this significant cultural event, which will include a variety of free activities such as fashion shows, conferences, and a pop-up store. This year, the Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert will serve as a new venue, where designer Leandro Cano will deliver a conference titled ‘Tejer la memoria: la búsqueda de la identidad a través de lo artístico’ on 5 November.
Juan de Dios Navarro, the Diputación's Culture Deputy, highlighted the importance of integrating fashion with culture, stating that the inclusion of the Gil-Albert reinforces the connection between the two fields and creates new opportunities for reflection and idea exchange. He expressed pride in supporting initiatives that promote creativity and enrich the province's cultural life.
Now in its eleventh edition, Alicante Fashion Week continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting new talent, making design accessible to the public, and fostering connections among industry professionals. The event also aims to enhance the city's image and, by extension, that of the entire province, attracting influencers, specialised media, and prominent figures from the fashion world.
The programme will kick off on 23 October with a conference titled “Sobre moda, creación y libertad” by Sergio Pastor and Ismael Alcaína, creators of the brand We Are Spastor, who won the National Fashion Design Award in 2026. This session will take place at 18:30 in the Auditorium of the Local Development Agency of Alicante.
The following day, 24 October, will feature an intensive fashion day at the Real Liceo Casino of Alicante, showcasing eleven fashion shows from both emerging and established designers, including six talents supported by the Diputación, alongside a pop-up store featuring creative and artisan brands.
On 5 November at 19:00, Leandro Cano's talk will take place at the Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert. The event will culminate on 13 November at 19:00 with an urban fashion show on Avenida de la Constitución in Alicante, aimed at fostering connections between designers and the public. All activities are free to access, subject to capacity limits.
