The Ayuntamiento de Valderrobres will implement a Punto Violeta during the Castañada 2026 celebrations, scheduled for 31 October at the Pabellón Municipal. This initiative is designed to promote safety and respect during the festivities.
The Punto Violeta will be staffed by trained professionals who will provide information, raise awareness, and prevent gender-based violence, as well as offer support and guidance to anyone in need. The service will be available on 31 October from 00:30 to 05:15 hours.
This initiative is part of a collaboration agreement between the Instituto Aragonés de la Mujer and the Ayuntamiento de Valderrobres, with a funding of €5,000 that covers all planned activities. The aim is to foster an atmosphere of respect, equality, and coexistence during the Castañada celebrations, ensuring a festive environment free from gender-based aggression.
Valderrobres encourages everyone to enjoy the Castañada while promoting a culture of safety and respect.
