The culture councillor of Torrelavega, Esther Vélez, has announced a special event to mark Library Day, featuring a puppet show and storytelling session on 23 October at 18:00. The event will take place in the Blue Room of the Gabino Teira Municipal Library.
The family-friendly company Los Titiritinos will present the show titled “Operación Susto”, which promises a dynamic blend of humour, mystery, laughter, and adventure. Entry to the event is free, subject to capacity limits.
Vélez has encouraged families to take part in this activity and to utilise the library as a space for community engagement and a gateway to stories and reading. This session is part of a series of activities funded by a grant from the Ministry of Culture aimed at promoting reading and library services.
