The Francisco Sota municipal library in Renedo, part of the Piélagos Town Council, has introduced new titles for its users this November. Carmen Bedoya, the councillor for culture, explained that the library has expanded its collection with fifteen new books, nine of which are aimed at adult readers and six at children.
Among the new adult titles, Bedoya highlighted “Recuerdos hasta un... nosotros” by Cantabrian author Ana Mazón, the first installment of the “Serie Recuerdos,” a story that promises to captivate fans of romantic novels. For those who enjoy mystery and intrigue, “Los huérfanos,” the latest novel by Carmen Mola, has been added to the collection. Additionally, classic literature enthusiasts can look forward to “Oliver Twist,” the renowned work by Charles Dickens.
Bedoya emphasised that younger readers will also discover new adventures on the library's shelves. With Christmas approaching, notable titles include “Ho, ho, Goa” by Míriam Tirado, a new entry in the popular series “Me llamo Goa,” which is sure to delight young readers. The children’s selection is further enhanced by two new titles from the “Aprende a leer con Julio Verne” collection, two additional volumes of the successful “Anna Kadabra” series, and a new adventure from the “Futbolísimos” collection.
During the 2026-2027 school year, the municipal library, located at number 31 in Barrio Llosacampo, will operate under winter hours, opening Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
