This Friday, 30 October, the Town Council of Hoyo de Manzanares, through its Sports Department, is organising a day dedicated to dance and movement featuring NUDO, an artistic proposal led by dancers Raúl Melcón and Adrián Sáez. The event offers an opportunity to engage with contemporary dance, discover new forms of bodily expression, and participate in an experience centred on movement and creativity.
The day will commence at 17:00 with a participatory dance and movement workshop in Room 2, aimed at individuals aged 18 and over. No prior experience is necessary, allowing anyone interested in exploring movement to take part. The workshop is free, but prior registration is required due to limited spaces.
At 19:30, the outdoor multipurpose court will host a showcase of the work being developed by Raúl Melcón and Adrián Sáez. Titled NUDO, the artists explore human connections, tensions, and understanding that arise in relationships, using the body and movement as tools to express and share these experiences. This showcase will also be free and open to the public.
This initiative is part of SALTO DINÁMICO, a creation residency programme aimed at emerging contemporary dance artists, supported by the Nexo Lumina association in collaboration with the Community of Madrid and the Town Council of Hoyo de Manzanares. Through these activities, the aim is to bring the creative process of artists closer to the public and provide a space for interaction between dance and the audience.
The Sports Department invites residents to participate in this day, which combines a practical activity with an artistic showcase, allowing for the discovery of movement from a different perspective.
