José Julián Gregorio, the mayor of Talavera, has resumed his visits to local businesses to gain insights into their operations and listen to their needs. He highlighted the significance of maintaining direct communication with entrepreneurs and professionals to appreciate their contributions to the local economy.
During his recent visits to SIXSA (Servicio Integral de Seguridad Ambiental) and Alameda Clínica Dental, Gregorio aimed to show the support of the city council for Talavera's business community. He was accompanied by María Pilar Guerrero, the councillor for Commerce, and Benedicto García, the councillor for Urban Planning.
Gregorio stated, "A mayor must understand how our businesses operate, what their needs are, and how we can assist from the administration." He stressed that these visits enable direct engagement with various economic sectors, allowing for a better understanding of their requirements and recognising the work of local professionals.
He noted that local businesses are crucial for job creation and wealth generation, contributing significantly to both the economic development and social well-being of Talavera.
At SIXSA, located in the TAFASA industrial park, the mayor learned about the company's specialisation in pest control and environmental health services. SIXSA provides a range of services, including rodent and insect control, disinfection, and legionella management, catering to both private clients and businesses, including restaurants, hotels, and public administrations. The company operates across various regions, including Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Castilla y León, and the Community of Madrid.
Gregorio emphasised the importance of specialised companies in safeguarding public health and maintaining safe environments, stating, "Behind every business are professionals who work daily to provide quality service and meet their clients' needs."
In addition, the mayor visited Alameda Clínica Dental, located in the Plaza de la Alameda, where he explored the clinic's range of dental treatments. The clinic offers services in general dentistry, periodontics, endodontics, implantology, dental prosthetics, oral surgery, orthodontics, paediatric dentistry, and aesthetic dentistry. This diverse offering allows for preventive care as well as restorative procedures aimed at improving both functionality and appearance.
During the visit, Gregorio acknowledged the role of healthcare professionals and clinics in Talavera, which provide specialised services to residents and contribute to the community's well-being. He remarked that businesses like SIXSA and Alameda Clínica Dental not only generate wealth but also exemplify the dynamism and professional capacity of Talavera's business landscape.
Gregorio reaffirmed the city council's commitment to maintaining close relationships with entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, merchants, and professionals, fostering dialogue, understanding their needs, and exploring collaborative opportunities to further stimulate Talavera's economic activity.
