Barcelona cemeteries enhance services for All Saints' Day

In anticipation of All Saints' Day, Barcelona's cemeteries are taking measures to facilitate visits for families and guests. To avoid overcrowding and encourage a more intimate experience, visitors are recommended to plan their trips ahead of time and consult the maps, deceased locator, and the private area of the Barcelona Cemeteries website.

Enhanced bus services

For Montjuïc Cemetery, a special service will operate along the route of line 107 from 26 October to 31 October, with increased services on 1 November, similar to line 21. In Collserola, a special service will run until 29 October, following the same itinerary as line 102, which will also be reinforced on 30 and 31 October and 1 November, along with line 104 on 31 October and 1 November. Additionally, on 1 November, a shuttle bus will operate between Plaça d'Espanya and Montjuïc Cemetery.

New service for pet ashes

Barcelona Cemeteries has introduced a new service allowing the placement of urns containing the ashes of pets in family graves. This service does not permit the burial of animals or organic remains; only the deposit of sealed urns containing ashes from a documented cremation process will be authorised, in accordance with established technical, documentary, and registration requirements.

Flower sales will be available at the following locations:

  • Sant Andreu: until 2 November, from 08:00 to 18:00.
