La Factoria de Dansa, the dance company of LaFACT, will return to the main hall of the Kursaal in Terrassa this Friday, 30 October, at 20:00, to present 'Dancing Beethoven'. This unique choreographic proposal reinterprets two of Beethoven's most iconic symphonies through complementary choreographic perspectives.
The Fifth Symphony, choreographed by Kevin O'Day, offers a physical and emotional journey through its four movements. Meanwhile, choreographer Jamal Callender reimagines the Seventh Symphony as a choreographic exploration of the four elements: earth, water, wind, and fire, viewed through the lens of the heart. Each movement transforms into an emotional landscape.
Among the dancers is Alba Nadal, born in Sant Fruitós de Bages and currently the artistic director of the PAR in Danza (High-Performance Dance Programme), as well as a teacher and dancer. With over 40 years in the dance sector, LaFACT has evolved into La Factoria de Dansa with the aim of creating professional opportunities for young dancers through high-quality productions.
Through La Factoria de Dansa, LaFACT produces works and collaborates with renowned choreographers and dancers. Additionally, members of the PAR in Danza are given the opportunity to participate in professional productions such as 'Carmina Burana', 'Bailando Mozart', and now 'Dancing Beethoven'.
Tickets for 'Dancing Beethoven' are priced at €20, with discounts available: €18 for seniors over 65, €15 for holders of the Carnet Galliner, and €6 for those under 30. Tickets can be purchased at the Kursaal box office.
