The Sports Department of the Vinaròs City Council is actively working to enhance the municipal sports facilities, ensuring safer and more suitable conditions for athletes, clubs, users, and attendees.
Recent improvements at the Ciudad Deportiva have included various repair, replacement, and upgrade works on materials, equipment, and structures, aimed at enhancing the overall condition of the facilities and facilitating sports practice.
One of the most significant developments is the completion and activation of the fire protection system at the municipal sports hall. This intervention addresses a critical safety service that had been unresolved for over a decade, according to the Sports Department.
“We are aware that there is still much to be done, as the facilities have accumulated deficiencies over many years, but we are working to transform these needs into concrete actions that enhance safety and the service we provide to the public,”
Adell also emphasised that “the activation of the fire protection system at the sports hall is a fundamental step, as the safety of athletes, clubs, families, and the public must always be a priority.”
The Sports Department will continue to work progressively on improving the maintenance, accessibility, and quality of municipal facilities, with a plan aimed at addressing existing deficiencies and preventing future incidents.
