The match marks the season opener for Unión Gáldar, who will defend their title in front of their home crowd. Leading the team is Alberto Zamora, known as 'El Puntal A', who is entering his second season with the northern squad and aims to continue making history for the club.
On the opposing side, Miguel Hernández, nicknamed 'El Majorero', returns to CL Adargoma after a twelve-year stint away, having previously competed for Saladar in Fuerteventura. He is set to make his comeback in the San José neighbourhood of Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria.
