The Cabildo of La Palma is hosting open days to allow the public to explore the interior of the new Tomás Cabrera Martín Insular Auditorium, located in Los Llanos de Aridane. Miriam Perestelo, the councillor for Culture and Cultural Heritage, stated that the aim is for the community to feel a sense of ownership over the auditorium, discovering its potential and engaging with a facility expected to play a significant role in La Palma's cultural life.
Perestelo emphasised that these open days reflect the Cabildo's commitment to making this new venue accessible to the local community, enabling individuals, organisations, and groups to familiarise themselves with its facilities before the regular programming begins.
Dates, times, and registration
The tours will take place on 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 12 November, with three sessions each day at 16:30, 17:30, and 18:30. Each tour will accommodate a maximum of 15 participants, and prior reservation is required through a registration form. The registration is free, mandatory, and individual, meaning each person must complete their own form, even if accompanied by family or friends.
Visits for associations and groups
In addition to individual tours, the Cabildo will organise specific visits for associations, social, cultural, and educational entities, as well as other organised groups interested in learning about the auditorium. Interested organisations can contact cultura@sodepal.es for information on conditions and coordination of the visits.
