Santander to host 2026 World Cup trophy exhibition this weekend

This weekend, the 2026 World Cup trophy, secured by the Spanish national football team last summer in the United States, will be showcased at the City Hall of Santander. The trophy was won after Spain triumphed over Argentina with a score of 1-0 in the final.

The exhibition is part of the national tour 'Kings of the World', organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation, aimed at bringing the coveted trophy closer to the public. The event will take place in the Reception Hall of the Santander City Hall on Friday and Saturday, with visiting hours from 10:00 to 20:00.

Visitors will have the chance to relive the highlights of the championship through an audiovisual experience and various elements related to the participation of Spanish players in the tournament. This initiative not only celebrates Spain's sporting success but also seeks to engage the community, promoting social participation and the values of effort, coexistence, teamwork, and camaraderie.

The exhibition is open to the general public, allowing any football fan the opportunity to view the trophy up close.
