Santa Eulària library to celebrate national library day with theatrical storytelling

The Municipal Library of Santa Eulària is set to celebrate National Library Day on Saturday, 24 October, with a special performance titled 'Living Library'. The event will begin at 11:30 AM and is open to the public free of charge, subject to capacity limits.

This theatrical storytelling show, presented by Celia Ruiz and Joanna Hrubry, will last approximately 45 minutes and is recommended for children aged six and older. The performance invites attendees into a magical library where the characters from stories come to life.

Through the tales of 'Juan de Ferro' by the Brothers Grimm and 'Vasalisa', a traditional Russian story adapted by Clarissa Pinkola, the show explores themes of personal growth and the balance between masculine and feminine qualities.

Celia Ruiz directs the performance, while Joanna Hrubry is responsible for the set design and also performs in the show. Admission is free until the library reaches full capacity.
