Sagunto hosts cultural week featuring art, music and theatre

The cultural department of Sagunto's town hall has announced a diverse programme for the first week of November, featuring theatrical and musical performances alongside the inauguration of two new art exhibitions.

The first exhibition, titled Solastalgia, by artist Sarah Taylor, will open at the Centro Cultural Mario Monreal on 3 November and will run until 28 November. The inauguration is scheduled for 3 November at 19:00.

Additionally, the Casa Municipal de Cultura will host the exhibition Arte y diversidad, organised by the association Discamp Morvedre. This exhibition showcases works from individuals with functional diversity and will be available for viewing from 4 to 27 November, with the opening taking place on 4 November at 19:00.

On 6 November, the theatre company Saga Teatre will perform the tragedy Misery, based on Stephen King's novel. The performance, lasting 95 minutes, will begin at 20:30 at the Casa Municipal de Cultura and is part of the Novembre Negre programme organised by the youth and childhood department.

The following day, 7 November, the concert El so de la terra will be performed by Amores Grup de Percussió. This 70-minute event will take place at the Centro Cultural Mario Monreal at 20:00, with tickets priced at €7 available through the Servientradas website. The concert aims to enhance the appreciation of contemporary music.

Finally, the Valencian band Doña Manteca will perform a Música latina concert on 8 November at 20:00, also at the Centro Cultural Mario Monreal. This one-hour performance was originally scheduled for 31 October but was postponed due to the official mourning period following the tragic train accident in Urda, Toledo.
