Palma city council has submitted an offer of €315,507 for the acquisition of the former Iris cinema and its adjacent premises, excluding the residential units, based on an assessment conducted by municipal technical services. The property, located next to CEIP Es Vivero, is intended for the future expansion of the educational centre to address its space requirements.
Following a thorough technical evaluation of the spaces involved in the transaction, municipal technical services established a valuation that served as a reference for the offer presented to the property owner. It is important to note that the city council has allocated a budget of €1.5 million for the purchase of the property and any subsequent necessary interventions in the space.
With this current offer, Palma city council reaffirms its commitment to fulfilling the unanimously approved agreement in the municipal plenary for the acquisition of the former Iris cinema, with the aim of utilising the property for the expansion of CEIP Es Vivero's facilities.
