J. González Gálvez presents her debut novel in Ronda

J. González Gálvez is set to present her debut novel, Amarte sin miedo, in Ronda this Saturday, 31 October, at 11.30 am in the historic Palacio de Mondragón. The announcement was made by Rebeca Muñoz, the municipal delegate for Culture.

Muñoz explained that Gálvez, who works as a nurse, began writing during the pandemic, which sparked a newfound passion for storytelling. It was in January of this year that she started developing the project that has culminated in this novel, which Muñoz describes as “captivating from the first page.”

Amarte sin miedo is characterised as “a story of light in the darkness” and is a romantic tale infused with the author’s enthusiasm and dedication. The Culture delegate has extended an invitation to all residents of Ronda to attend the presentation and support their local author.

Additionally, Muñoz highlighted that the weekend will be rich in cultural activities, starting on Friday, 30 October, with the theatre production El guitón Onofre, featuring actor Pepe Viyuela. Saturday will also see various Halloween events, beginning at 5.00 pm with a parade along Calle Espinel, followed by workshops in Plaza del Socorro at 5.30 pm, and a haunted house at the Convento de Santo Domingo from 7.00 pm.
