The town hall of Elche has unveiled the third Footwear Week, an initiative strengthened by a partnership between the local council and the Valencian Association of Footwear Entrepreneurs (AVECAL). This event aims to celebrate and promote one of the city’s most iconic and vital industries.
Samuel Ruíz, the councillor for Economic Promotion, emphasised that “talking about footwear in Elche is talking about identity, history, and a legacy built on the effort, talent, and innovation of thousands of professionals and families.” He highlighted the dual purpose of the event: to showcase the excellence of local companies and to bring professional, creative, and technological opportunities closer to the youth.
