Algeciras commemorates All Saints' Day with procession to the old cemetery

On 1 November 2026, the mayor of Algeciras, Jacinto Muñoz, participated in the events organised to celebrate All Saints' Day. He was accompanied by Ángel Martínez, the deputy mayor responsible for cemeteries, and Paula Conesa, the deputy mayor for equality.

This year, a notable highlight was the procession of the Cristo de Medinaceli alongside the Virgen de la Trinidad to the city's old cemetery. The procession attracted numerous faithful and local residents, who gathered to pay tribute to their loved ones on a day filled with remembrance, tradition, and devotion.

At noon, the Angelus was recited in the cemetery itself, while a mass in memory of all the deceased is scheduled for 5 PM.
