The LaLiga Hypermotion match between Tenerife and Andorra has been postponed due to an orange weather warning for heavy rain in the metropolitan area of Tenerife, which has necessitated the closure of the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium.
The Cabildo de Tenerife announced that all cultural and sporting activities in the at-risk area would be suspended starting at 10:00 on Sunday, 1 November, as part of the activation of the Insular Emergency Plan. This includes the closure of facilities such as the home stadium of the blanquiazul team, as well as the Santiago Martín Pavilion, the Tenerife Fairgrounds, and the Adán Martín Auditorium. These measures will remain in effect until the restrictions are lifted.
The match cannot be rescheduled for Monday, as the Costa Adeje Tenerife has a Liga F match against Athletic Club already scheduled. Additionally, the Tenerife team is set to travel to the mainland on Tuesday to play the postponed Copa del Rey match against CD Badajoz on Wednesday, 4 November.
The earliest available date for the postponed match, which is part of the 12th round of LaLiga Hypermotion, is now proposed for 11 November, subject to confirmation from the relevant sports authorities.
