Centre d’Esports L’Hospitalet approaches the return to league competition with optimism, confident of defeating Badalona this Sunday at the Estadio Municipal and thus reaffirming their lead in the Tercera RFEF. Coach Raúl Paje has emphasised the importance of controlling ball possession and exploiting the team's verticality.
Paje described Badalona as a "maximum difficulty" opponent with strong ball control, but stressed that L'Hospitalet will also assert their control over the match. "It will be a very attractive game, with two very different styles. They are a more associative team, but we will know how to counter that difficulty. In this battle of possession and pressure, the team that performs better will win the match," Paje explained.
L'Hospitalet, currently leading the league with 14 points, is closely followed by Badalona, who sit in tenth place, just three points behind. The squad is confident of adding three more points to maintain their position at the top of the table.
Defender Yaya Sidibé noted, "We know that Badalona will want to have a lot of the ball, so we will need to be patient and wait for our moment to take it from them and make them chase it instead." The match between Centre d’Esports L’Hospitalet and CF Badalona is set to kick off on Sunday at 12:00 at the Estadio Municipal de Fútbol.
