Geroa Bai is urging the citizens of Navarra to participate in the upcoming Nafarroa Oinez, set to take place this Sunday, 18 October, in Zizur Mayor, with the theme 'Bidean bat gara' (We are one on the road).
The coalition aims to highlight the significance of Nafarroa Oinez as an event that goes beyond mere festivities, reflecting the ongoing commitment of thousands of Navarrese families to the transmission and continuity of the Basque language, Euskera, among younger generations.
Geroa Bai emphasises the collective effort behind this celebration, which is the result of the involvement of families, volunteers, and the educational community of the ikastolas—Basque-language schools. The coalition underscores the contribution of the cooperative model of ikastolas, showcasing the ability of Navarrese society to organise around a common educational and cultural project that has helped to revitalise the use of Euskera.
