The Fiesta de Tosantos Mágico is set to take place on 31 October in the Plaza de Las Bodegas, Chiclana. Organised by the Association of Magi, the event will include performances and tastings, with all proceeds directed towards the 'No Child Without Toys' campaign.
Fede Díaz, the municipal delegate for festivities, and Juani Verdugo, vice president of the Association of Magi, announced the details of the event, which will commence at 12.00 hours on Saturday, 31 October. This year, the festivities coincide with Halloween, allowing the event to run throughout the day and into the night.
Attendees will have the opportunity to sample traditional dishes from Chiclana at affordable prices while enjoying performances from the Antonio Baro and Javier Sánchez Dance Academy, the 'House of Dreams' Performing Arts School, Isabel Posada, Los Legendarios, and flamenco singer José Galvín, accompanied by guitarist Rafael Gallo.
Díaz emphasised the significance of this event within the broader Halloween and Tosantos initiatives supported by the local government, stating, “We are talking about one of the most important activities of the campaign carried out by the Association of Magi.”
Verdugo highlighted the community spirit of the event, noting that most of the tapas and drinks are donated by local individuals and businesses. She encouraged anyone wishing to contribute products to contact members of the association. “Everyone who enjoys a tapa and a drink will be supporting the 'No Child Without Toys' campaign,” she added.
