The City Council of Reus is continuing to promote the Cultural Passport programme during the 2026-2027 academic year through the Educational Environment Plan. In the first week of November, passports are being handed out to students from 13 participating schools in the city.
During the distribution event, students are informed about how the programme works and are encouraged to enjoy educational and cultural activities with their families.
The Cultural Passport aims to broaden learning opportunities outside the school environment, allowing children to engage in educational, cultural, and leisure activities available in their surroundings. Each experience is documented in a personalised booklet, where children receive a stamp for each activity they attend, along with space to note their learnings and personal reflections.
The involvement of teachers and families is crucial to the success of the Cultural Passport, as they serve as guides and facilitators for learning outside of school. To ensure active participation, a detailed monthly schedule of available activities is shared, outlining the type of activity, location, and whether prior registration is required.
At the end of the academic year, a closing celebration is held to acknowledge the participation of children and the collaboration of schools and local organisations.
The Cultural Passport is part of the Educació360 movement and is based on the EduNauta Passport managed by the +Educació Cooperative and the Bofill Foundation. The Education Department of Reus City Council is working to strengthen collaboration with educational and cultural entities, seeking new learning and cultural enrichment proposals for the city's children.
