The city of Barbastro has launched a new high-power public address system this November, aimed at improving sound quality during sports events and other activities. The system, which represents an investment of approximately €5,000, was inaugurated on 1 November at the Municipal Sports Centre during a Segunda RFEF match between UD Barbastro and Peña Sport.
This upgrade enhances the technical capabilities of the Municipal Sports Centre, providing a sound system with greater capacity to meet the needs of various sporting events and ensure better engagement from the audience. Francisco Albert, the city’s Sports Councillor, emphasised that this investment is crucial for the development of sports activities, stating, “We want our facilities to have the means to offer the best possible conditions for both clubs and fans attending the matches.”
The new system is not limited to a single team or competition; it will be available for use by all local sports clubs, as detailed by the councillor.
