08/10/2026 The Xunta de Galicia has announced its support for the Origen music cycle, a program organized by Ernie Producciones that will host a total of eight musical events in six venues across Galicia from October 2026 to March 2027. The lineup features eleven artists and groups.

This initiative is part of the funding program from the Consellería de Cultura, Lengua y Juventud aimed at promoting musical programming in private venues. The cycle will kick off on Saturday, October 10, at the Mardi Gras venue in A Coruña, with a joint concert by Estrogenuinas and Agoraphobia.

The schedule will continue on October 17 with Montedapena at the Arca de Noé in Vilar de Santos, and on October 24 with Eladio y los Seres Queridos at Sala Jagger in Lugo. In November, Los Acebos and Dani Cornes will perform on the 6th at the Fábrica de Chocolate in Vigo, followed by Monoulious DOP on the 20th at La Cofradía in Vilanova de Arousa.

After a winter break, the Origen cycle will resume in February 2027, starting with Capital Voskov on the 5th at La Cofradía and Taïn on the 12th at the Fábrica de Chocolate. The cycle will conclude on March 13 at the Guión venue in Pontedeume, featuring a final performance by Carla Lourdes and Javier Lago.

Origen is one of nine programs included in the Xunta's funding initiative for private venues, which distributes a total of €358,586 for the 2026-2027 period. This funding will support the development of 141 concerts featuring 80 artists and groups across 16 locations in Galicia.
