The president of the Parliament of Navarra, Unai Hualde, received the draft budget for 2027 on Friday from José Luis Arasti, the regional government's Minister of Economy and Finance. The final debate on the budget is scheduled for 17 December.
Hualde expressed satisfaction with the agreement reached between the Socialist Party of Navarra (PSN), Geroa Bai, Contigo-Zurekin, and EH Bildu, stating that the budget represents "good accounts because they aim to continue strengthening public services and improving the living conditions in Navarra." He noted, "We have had three entire legislatures with budgetary stability. Now is the time to agree on amendments."
Following the publication of the draft law in the Official Bulletin of the Parliament of Navarra on 5 November, parliamentary groups will have until 12 November at 12:00 to submit amendments to the whole budget, and until 19 November for partial amendments. On 19 November, the plenary session will debate the amendments to the whole budget, and if none are presented or succeed, the debate on partial amendments will take place in the Commission of Economy and Finance between 1 and 11 December.
Finally, the plenary session of the Parliament will discuss the report from the Commission of Finance and Financial Policy regarding the draft law on the general budget for the 2027 financial year on 17 December.
