Sinfónica de Rivas presents 'amor brujo' concert featuring Falla, Mozart and Laura Vega

On 7 November at 20:00, the Auditorio Pilar Bardem will host the concert titled ‘Amor brujo’, which promises to blend symphonic excellence with the spirit of flamenco and classical brilliance. The evening will feature Manuel de Falla's most famous work, the ballet ‘El amor brujo’, alongside Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's ‘Symphony No. 41 (Jupiter)’ and ‘Más allá de los mundos’ by the Canary Islands composer Laura Vega.

This second concert of the autumn season highlights four prominent figures from the contemporary Spanish music scene. Laura Vega, who recently received the National Music Award 2026, will open the concert with her piece ‘Más allá de los mundos’. The guest conductor, Lucía Marín, is regarded as one of Spain's leading orchestral conductors, with a strong international presence.

The climax of the evening will be the performance of the ballet ‘El amor brujo’, featuring María Toledo, a historic pioneer of flamenco, accompanied by dancer Carla Prado. The second half of the concert will shift to Viennese classicism, concluding with the performance of Mozart's ‘Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551’, known as Jupiter.
