‘Muévete Asprona’ festival promotes inclusivity in Albacete

Councillor Lucrecia Rodríguez de Vera participated in the third edition of the ‘Muévete Festival’ organized by Asprona at the Caseta de los Jardinillos. The event, which runs throughout the day, offers a variety of entertainment including live music, dance performances, magic shows, DJ sessions, children's activities, and food and drink stalls.

Notable performances include acts by Vuelo Fidji, Los Galván, The Rollovers, and Fifty’s. Rodríguez de Vera emphasized the importance of inclusivity, stating, “Society is truly inclusive when individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities can participate, enjoy, and share their leisure activities with the entire community, as is the case at this festival.”

She also highlighted the role of Asprona users, who feel empowered and integrated through their involvement in the festival's organization, public engagement, and ticket sales, among other responsibilities.

Rodríguez de Vera expressed gratitude to all attendees and reaffirmed the city council's commitment to organizations like Asprona, which help create a community where everyone can live together and participate equally in leisure, culture, and all social realities.
