Albacete — The Councillor for Neighborhoods and Participation, Llanos Navarro, attended the first conference of the VI edition of the 'Hacemos Barrio' cycle at the Ágora Center. The event featured speakers Fernando Martínez and José Martínez, who discussed 'Legends and Mysteries in Albacete'.
Navarro congratulated both the speakers and the organizer of the cycle, Virgilio Cencerrado. She noted that for the first time this year, the 30 conferences of the cycle will not be held solely at the Ágora Center, but will also take place in other venues such as the Diputación's Assembly Hall, the Institute of Albacetense Studies at the Chalet de Fontecha, and the Assembly Hall of Unicaja on San José de Calasanz Street.
She highlighted the importance of this cycle, stating that it has become a platform for citizen participation, aimed at bringing knowledge, culture, traditions, and the experiences of specialists closer to the neighborhoods and the wider community. Navarro encouraged citizens to attend the upcoming talks every Thursday or, if unable to do so, to watch them online, as this initiative seeks to reach as broad an audience as possible.
