La Línea prepares for festive season with new Christmas lights

The town hall of La Línea de la Concepción, led by the municipal delegation of Fiestas under Mercedes Atanet, has announced the commencement of the installation of extraordinary Christmas lighting this week, carried out by the company Iluminaciones Ximénez.

This year, the ornamental planning will not include Plaza de la Constitución due to the start of a renovation project in that area. Instead, key locations for the festive decorations will include Plaza de la Iglesia, which will feature redesigned displays, and the Saccone gardens, designated for the traditional Christmas village and various decorative elements.

Notably, this year's plans include an increase in the number of streets adorned with lights and the relocation of the illuminated Christmas tree, which in previous years was situated in Plaza de la Constitución, to Paseo de Camarón. The delegation of Fiestas, led by Atanet, has emphasised the municipal effort to enhance the extraordinary lighting, with the inauguration date to be confirmed in an upcoming press conference.
