Enrique Etayo, the Cultural Councillor of Talavera de la Reina, has announced the theatrical performance ‘Akelarre de fantasía’, which will take place this Sunday, 18 October, at 19:00 in Teatro Palenque.
The story unfolds in a world where children have stopped believing in magic. It features three extraordinary characters from the realm of childhood imagination: a perfectionist fairy godmother, a rebellious witch, and a free-spirited elf. Together, they face a profound crisis: the threat of being forgotten.
Celestina, Morata, and Verdilla have been guardians of fantasy for centuries, maintaining the balance between fairy tales and imagination. However, stripped of their purpose, they must rediscover their identities and powers.
The plot takes a dramatic turn when Morata, the rock-hearted witch, receives a disturbing offer from the dark side. Although she initially rejects it, she falls victim to a deception that alters her essence and ignites a conflict that tests friendship, love, and loyalty. Will Celestina and Verdilla be able to rescue Morata from herself before it is too late?
