Torrejón de Ardoz — The exhibition titled "Arquitectura moderna de Madrid," featuring the photography of Ana Amado, is currently on display at the Museo de la Ciudad and will remain open until November 1. The exhibition presents a curated selection of images that capture some of the most significant buildings and spaces in contemporary Madrid architecture from an artistic perspective.
Organized by the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM), the Fundación Arquitectura COAM, and the Fundación Ibercaja, the exhibition is free to enter. Visitors can view the collection from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
During the opening ceremony, Torrejón de Ardoz Mayor Alejandro Navarro Prieto emphasized the importance of providing cultural initiatives that allow residents to appreciate and understand their architectural heritage. He also highlighted the city's commitment to offering a diverse and high-quality cultural program.
The exhibition invites attendees to explore the visual narrative of modern Madrid's architecture and encourages them to observe these spaces from a fresh perspective, showcasing the elements that have shaped the image and evolution of contemporary Madrid.
