Exhibitions at the City Museum

At the City Museum, two notable exhibitions are currently on display. Until November 1, visitors can explore “Modern Architecture of Madrid,” a photographic exhibition by Ana Amado that presents a visual tour of some of the most representative buildings and spaces in contemporary Madrid architecture. This exhibition is organized by the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), the COAM Architecture Foundation, and the Ibercaja Foundation, allowing attendees to appreciate these locations from an artistic perspective while discovering their architectural and heritage value.

Additionally, until October 18, the museum features the sculpture exhibition “Sports” by Álvaro Guijarro, which draws artistic inspiration from the world of sports. Both exhibitions are open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Exhibitions at the Rafael Alberti Cultural Center

The Rafael Alberti Cultural Center is hosting the photographic exhibition “My Gaze, Mexico” by Arantxa Corrales, which will be available until October 29. This exhibition focuses on the photographic perspective of Mexico and can be visited Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A meeting with the author is scheduled for today, October 6, at 6:00 PM.

Exhibitions at La Caja del Arte

At La Caja del Arte, visitors can enjoy “Vancor. A Lost Mythology,” an exhibition of pen drawings by artist Iván Correa, which explores a unique creative universe where drawing serves as a medium to construct a personal mythology. This exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and will also be available until October 29.

Exhibition at the House of Culture

Moreover, the House of Culture is showcasing the work of students from ASTOR DesbordARTE. This exhibition, which will be on display until October 30, features the artistic creations developed by participants in this project, offering the public a chance to appreciate their creativity, sensitivity, and various forms of artistic expression.

For those seeking cultural plans this month, Torrejón de Ardoz continues to provide a range of free exhibitions that cover various artistic disciplines, from contemporary Madrid architecture to Mexican culture, sports, and local artistic creation.
