Santander port authority invites bids for website hosting and maintenance services

The Santander Port Authority (APS) has announced a public tender for the provision of website hosting and technical maintenance services. The aim is to ensure the availability, security, and performance of the platform, as explained by the president of the port authority, César Díaz.

The tender has a budget of €212,355, including VAT, and the execution period is set for five years. Offers can be submitted until 27 October.

According to Díaz, the objective is to maintain the operational capability of the website, implement updates, resolve incidents, and adapt to functional needs that may arise, ensuring a high-quality service. The website serves as a key communication channel with the public, the port community, businesses, and other public administrations.

Through the portal, accessible at www.puertosantander.es, the APS provides institutional, administrative, and operational information, as well as digital services and content related to its activities. This includes daily ship information, live cameras, weather updates, statistical data, tariffs, maritime services, dry ports, and news about the port.

The APS corporate website consists of a content management system and a web front comprising the main page and the various pages that make up the corporate portal. The service must be provided continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring high platform availability, simultaneous support for an unlimited number of users, and no restrictions on data transfer volume associated with the service provision.
