On October 9, 2026, the Juan de Santander Civic Center is set to host the third edition of ‘Pajareros’ on October 21, 23, and 28. This film series aims to connect audiences with stories related to birds, nature conservation, and the significant environmental challenges of our time.
‘Pajareros’ is organized as part of the Santander Capital Natural initiative by SEO/BirdLife, in collaboration with the Santander City Council, the Monte Madrid Foundation, and the CIMA of the Government of Cantabria. The series has established itself as a meeting point for culture, science, and sustainability, using documentary film to foster curiosity and critical thinking about environmental issues.
The 2026 edition focuses on the transformations brought about by the climate crisis and biodiversity loss. The selected films illustrate how birds witness these changes and help us understand the challenges of coexistence between humans and wildlife.
