Ourense is set to celebrate Halloween on Saturday, October 31, 2026, transforming the city into a focal point for this increasingly popular and participatory event. The coincidence of Halloween falling on a Saturday is expected to attract even more attendees.
The program aims to enhance street activities, including workshops, a haunted tunnel, and a fear-themed parade, along with a flashmob and a performance by Chaioso. Musical options will cater to all audiences, featuring a children's concert by Uxía Lambona and the Orquesta París de Noia, as well as a late-night session by La Gramola.
“For years, we have had the best Halloween in Spain, and this year it falls on a Saturday, which will make it historic,” said Ourense Mayor Gonzalo Pérez Jácome. “We are preparing a tremendous show, with a parade that keeps growing, a closed tunnel, and many more activities. We want to encourage people to participate. In Ourense, we have this tradition: businesses dress up for the occasion, and there is more and more merchandise. Halloween is everywhere,” he added.
