The Councilor for Participation and Neighborhoods, Llanos Navarro, attended a mass in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary, alongside the Councilor for Proximity, Carlos Calero, and other members of the local government. This event took place during the ongoing potato exaltation festivities in El Salobral.
Navarro congratulated local leader Olaya Sarrión on the celebration, stating that it helps enhance the identity of El Salobral and promotes the potato, a key agricultural product linked to the municipality. She noted, “El Salobral attracts many visitors during this time, allowing them to enjoy tastings and cultural activities in a town that has much to offer.”
Additionally, she mentioned the upcoming completion of a new sociocultural center, which will provide more opportunities for the community once the ongoing expansion works by the City Council are finished.
