Franciscanos neighborhood celebrates its festivities amid plans for urban regeneration

On October 4, 2026, city councilors Llanos Navarro and Pascual Molina participated in a mass at the Franciscanos parish, marking the neighborhood's festive celebrations.

As the councilor for Neighborhoods and Participation, Llanos Navarro congratulated the local residents, starting with the president of the Adela Casamayor Association and its entire Board of Directors, who are regular collaborators with the City Council in efforts to improve the quality of life in this densely populated area of the city.

Navarro emphasized, "Together with the residents of Franciscanos, we will continue to work to provide more opportunities for a neighborhood that will also benefit from many initiatives under the Special Regeneration Plan for the Ensanche. This includes the comprehensive renovation of Franciscanos Street and Jesús de Medinaceli Square, aimed at creating a more friendly and sustainable urban environment for all."
